The land of the dinosaurs! This 20 acre property has so many stories to tell! Just north of this parcel is hundreds of acres of state land which includes Egg Mountain, the famous site in which Jack Horner and his team first discovered dinosaur eggs in the late 70's. Many people believe that Jurassic Park was inspired by Jack and his work here. In 1999 a fossil specimen of a new species of duck-billed dinosaur was found on the land that adjoins this parcel to the west. This new dinosaur, Acristavus Gagslarsoni, was named after the original landowner Russell Ellsworth "Gags" Larson and now can be found in the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. This parcel was also the site of multiple Marlboro Man ads and it is easy to understand why. The views are simply staggering - some of the most beautiful I have ever seen of the Front. The last of the Marlboro ads were shot here in 2015 which is when they constructed the corral that still exists on the property. Listed by Jen Barnett.
